Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use The Baby Diary mobile app or this website. By using The Baby Diary you agree to these terms. If you don't, that's fine — please don't use the app.

Not medical advice

The Baby Diary is a tracking and journaling app. It is not a medical device. Nothing in the app — including insights, due-window hints, and the Ask feature — is medical advice or a diagnosis. For any health concern about your baby, contact your GP, midwife, health visitor, or NHS 111.

Free to use

The Baby Diary is free. There is no paywall and no subscription. We may add optional paid features in future; if we do, we'll be clear about what's free and what isn't.

Use at your own discretion

We do our best to make the app reliable, but it's provided "as is". You're responsible for the choices you make for your family. Don't rely on the app for time-critical medical decisions.

Acceptable use

Don't use The Baby Diary to break the law, abuse other users, attack our services, or attempt to access data that isn't yours. We may suspend accounts that do.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Baby Diary and its makers are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under UK law.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a fresh "last updated" date.
